Hula Movie
Here’s our first video of Bennett. He’s not more than a week old.
Here he’s grasping Heidi’s finger. That putt-putt-putt you hear in the background is the high frequency ventilator you may have read about.

Transferring Bennett back to bed. This is to give you some idea of how small he was, even at 6 weeks old.
Bennett was having a bad day after an eye exam, and the doctors thought he was crashing. Heidi said, let me hold him! When she did, he stabilized, and all was well again. The doctor who admitted (and resuscitated) Bennett when he was born was attending him this day, too. In this clip you can hear him in the background saying “It’s the mother’s touch.”
The first time I held him, Bennett looked around like, “Something’s different here…”
A long clip of his first bath. Normally preemies react rather poorly to the whole bathing thing, but Bennett is not your average preemie, I suppose. He loved every moment of it.
