New Year, New Plans

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

These aren’t in order, just disjointed thoughts I’m trying to compile.

- Bennett’s starting handwriting, he’s writing so I need to get him some direction before he develops wonky writing habits.

- Weekly schedule written out for C and Mo so they can grab their binders and know which math lesson pages to start on, what spelling words to review, which grammar lessons we’ll do. They’ll still need me to cover the lesson but they can do their worksheets or review spelling words while they wait.

- Start Ben on his binder of kindergarden stuff, math and language. Also sit down daily for him to read me a book, pick one we can read to each other (chapter book) and discuss?

- Cursive review for older two.

- Formalize geography/local history study and pick monthly field trips to local spots. Decide on final project to do with both kids re: Texas.

- Consistent piano lessons for older two kids.

- Okay, just review everything and be more consistent. :)
