Jupiter’s Most Wide

Bennett’s been playing with the NASA cards Jenn sent us (related to our biography discussion this morning re: Apollo 11) and every once in awhile I would hear, “Mom, where’s Jupiter?” or “Mom, can we go to Mercury?” I peeked in to see what he was doing and found this:

Bennett lined them all up. In order. Then argued with Emy because she said she wants to visit Venus and Bennett says it’s too hot.

I know he’s mine, but can I say how impressed I am by him?

Oh, I should add in the interest of full disclosure that Bennett knows the planets in order and a trait of them (Mercury is hot, Venus is bright, Mars is red) because of Blue’s Clues. We found some old Blue’s Clues tapes at a thrift shop years and years ago and one has a song about the planets. If you set it to music, Bennett will memorize it. 🙂
