For his reading lesson today I asked B to grab the science book off the shelf and start working on it, then we could discuss it.

But instead of grabbing the 1st grade level science I was referring to, he grabbed this one:

And read it, and then asked me if he could gather supplies for the experiment with pill bugs. 😀

Maybe I need to challenge him more?
