Science Museum

We decided today needed to be a science field trip so we packed a lunch and packed some kids and headed down to Dallas.

Is it terrible that we were so amused by our kids cowering from the dinosaurs? They move. It was pretty creepy:

As were the bugs, but the kids loved those and the snakes and turtles and fish and lizards. They dressed up as bugs and played in a spiderweb:

We also did some rock climbing, exploring a three way mirror, dug for dinosaur bones, and milked a cow that produced water!

Then we had our picnic lunch by the lake where the kids explored a sculpture bridge on the lake, B begged for a ride on the swan paddle boats, and J terrorized the pigeons by throwing bits of his sandwich at them and chasing them down to hold them. It was a great day, and thankfully the anti-carseat Miss O napped on the way going and coming back. (Waking up at the end to remind us that she HATES her carseat and we won’t be taking any trips anytime soon.)
